We are recruiting an enthusiastic teacher with a commitment to creating and growing a vibrant Visual Arts Department with a strong focus on Visual Communication & Design through to VCE.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting and challenging position for someone who enjoys working in a Christian environment and who is able to foster a strong appreciation for Visual Arts and Visual Communication & Design.

The College is committed to education in The Arts as something of intrinsic value to our students’ development, understanding and life-long learning. We offer generalist Art courses in the middle years (5-8) with a more specific focus on Visual Communication and Design in Years 9-12.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Teaching Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching) or eligibility for registration
• Expertise and knowledge in teaching visual arts and visual communication & design
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A strong commitment to the Christian ethos of the College
